Back when we started thinking about moving abroad for a year, we found that the BEST source of info was reading the blogs of others who had done so, reaching out to them to see if they would talk to us, etc.
In fact, that's how we ended up: (1) choosing the Heredia area as the best place to live; (2) choosing the European School for our kids; and (3) finding the amazing house that we rented for the year.
