Monteverde Again (2014.12)
The family loves the cooler weather and great hiking opportunities found around Monteverde. It’s a bit too touristy-built-up but still a great place to be. So we went BACK for a few days before Christmas to get some hiking done (last time around, Lia’s horse riding accident derailed our hiking plans). The highlight for the parents was going back to the suspension bridge in the reserve that was dedicated/opened the SAME DAY we were married in 1999 (we saw the dedication sign when we went to Monteverde on our honeymoon). : )
